Our business model is based on promoting sustainability in the office furniture industry through the use of eco-friendly materials, recycling and circular economy principles. We identify and separate the useful furniture parts and repurposes them into new green office furniture products. Additionally, JOS Movement sells these parts as resources to other manufacturers and artists who can use them to create their own eco-friendly designs.

We are in an industry that operates at an enormous scale, and therefore, we must have a plan in place for the furniture that we are purchasing, at the time of purchase (or soon thereafter). Specification and reuse of second-life contract furniture is the most powerful way to reduce carbon emissions in the contract office furniture industry. Not all furniture inventories are eligible for resale on the JOS Movement Marketplace, yet we are still interested in helping you find the right solution for donation or recycling responsibly.
